Psychologist (MA) Özge Ağsaran
I graduated from the Department of Psychology at Middle East Technical University (METU) with high honors in 2024. Following my undergraduate studies, I continued my clinical and academic work in the Netherlands, successfully completing my Master of Arts (MA) in Psychology program at the Webster Leiden Campus.
In my clinical practice, I apply an eclectic (integrative) approach tailored to the individual needs of my clients and the specific dynamics of each case. In the therapeutic process, I primarily utilize Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), integrating it with the Psychodynamic Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques to create a comprehensive and personalized clinical formulation.
Psycho-oncology, a field in which I have completed specialized training to deepen my clinical expertise, is also among my primary areas of focus. In this context, I provide multidimensional psychological support to individuals experiencing oncological illnesses, their relatives navigating the disease process, and professionals working in this field.
I maintain my professional practice in strict adherence to international ethical guidelines and under regular clinical supervision. I conduct my therapy sessions via online platforms in both Turkish and English.
Some of the topics I work on with adults and young adults:
Anxiety and Stress Management
Depression and Mood Difficulties
Personality Patterns and Identity Exploration
Relationship and Communication Issues (Individual)
Body Image and Self-Esteem
Psycho-oncology
Academic Stress and Performance Anxiety
